About leadership and what I will do as your future Vancouver School Board Trustee

My campaign experiences so far have been very positive.  90% of the people I've met  and listened to are voters hungry for improvement to Canadian education. They LOVE my pledge IEEE - Inspire! Encourage! Empower! Enable!

I hope that the other 10% will become voters after thinking about our conversations.  Because I feel they do care and they do believe in the individual's power to make a difference in their community, and society at large.

People today are hungry for leaders that inspire. I want to tell you, look within, that you too, can be that kind of leader, especially in the event of solving problems and support right leaders!

John Quincy Adams said: " If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, you are a leader. " From my interactions with people during my campaign, I have updated  this quote, as follows: "If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, care more, trust more and be more, you  are a leader."

People want schools that will produce  community and nation builders. Any citizen can make a difference in this regard with IEEE- Inspire! Encourage! Empower! Enable!

Mark Twain said, "Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can be great."  Also, don't let your own negative thoughts get in your way.

I hope my experiences and heartfelt words will energize all voters.  Seize this election time!  Use your vote to make an impact and improve the Vancouver School Board.

As your future Vancouver School Board Trustee, I pledge to work for you and deliver the leadership you desire.  I will use my project management skills to initiate effective approach to solve issues.  Specifically, I will -

·         advocate transparent and inclusive communication with all levels of governments,

·         restore funding for school maintenance and safety, earthquake readiness, infrastructure repair, as well as budgeting for new equipment, including that which meets the needs of disabled students.

·         end job action by finding a compromise between a reasonable work-load for teachers, the quality of education that parents want, and reasonable pay rates that will satisfy teachers, parents and taxpayers.

·         end bullying by mandating and enforcing rules that will ensure a school environment free of fear for all students.

I will share my campaign experiences daily. Please follow me on twitter: .  Also visit
